The insulation used in the 150mm x 6m Acoustic duct is made of a polyester fibre blend that has a thermal rating when tested to Australian Standard (AS)-4508 of R 0.6 (250gram at 40mm thick).
The inner core is made from a strong spun bonded , non woven polypropylene that is locked together with a steel rib that encapsulates a copper coated spring steel wire. The outer jacket is made of one layer of clear polyester bonded to one layer of metallised polyester with fire retardant glue
A means for the redistribution, disposition and ventilation of air in a way so as to not significantly increase or decrease it's thermal properties.
